DAY 1 HANOI ARRIVAL (D)
On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel for check in. Ha Noi, Vietnam's capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retains an unique old world charm and some Asia ‘s most striking colonial architecture. The many lakes and parks make for relaxing atmosphere.
Afternoon, walk around Hoan Kiem lake marking the city center with Ngoc Son Temple. End of day, we attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long theatre. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2 HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B,L,D)
The cruise tour guide and shuttle bus pick you up from your hotel, departing for Halong city through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. Arrive at Hon Gai habour, Halong city at noon. Check in your cruise. Enjoy welcome drinks then lunch is served while cruising through the Bai Tu Long bay to Halong bay.
Visit splendid Surprise (Sung Sot) Cave, which is the most beautiful grotto in Halong bay with thousands of stalagmites, stalactites and many legend stories about that.
16h30: Time for kayaking around Surprise cave area. You will have got around 45 minutes to explore Halong bay and some tunnels with our tour guide.
Back to the cruise, cruising to Drum cave for docking and overnight. Passing many beautiful islets on the bay as Head man’s face islet, Saddle horse islet, Fairy lake, drum cave, Virgin cave. Time for relaxing afternoon, make the most of sunbathing on deck. Taking photos on the way. Enjoy the small party with fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea.
Dinner is served on board. Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, dancing, karaoke; watch movie or enjoy night fishing. Overnight on cruise.
DAY 3 BAI TU LONG BAY – VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HANOI – DA NANG – HOI AN (B,L)
Start your day with Tai Chi class on sundeck and welcome sunrise. 07h00: Breakfast, coffee and tea and served while cruising ahead to Bai Tu Long bay. The route is really serene and Bai Tu Long bay islets are really imposing.
08h15: Rowing small local bamboo boat (around 1 hour) to visit Vung Vieng fishing village. Our guide will give you some information and interesting facts about this fascinating village and its local community. Back to the cruise. Keep sailing back to the Hon Gai harbour through the waters and passing many beautiful islets and island on the Bai Tu Long bay.
10h30: Vietnamese Cooking Class in the dining deck. You know how to make a fresh spring rolls “Nem” and mix “Nuoc mam” Vietnamese fish-sauce.
11h00: An early lunch is served. Check out your cabins. Disembark Halong cruise and transfer to airport for flight to Da Nang. Arrival Danang, meet with guide transfer to hoi An check in. Free at leisure. Dinner at leisure (not included in tour price). Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 4 HOI AN (B)
Morning, take a half day walking tour of Hoian, discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous Morning, meet you at hotel in Hoian then transfer out for a city tour to visit the ancient architecture of Hoian – known as a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tamky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. Visiting the villages around. Lunch by yourselves, then take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River, which also gives you a chance to admire the spectacular countryside and explore a handicraft ceramic village and boat building yards. Dinner at leisure (not included in tour price). Overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 5 HOI AN – DA NANG – HUE (B)
Morning, transfer to Hue via Hai Van (Cloudy Pass) - The overland journey will take you through one of the most beautiful scenery of Vietnam, visit Marble Mountain and buddhist shrine in a cave in Da Nang before driving to Hoi An. Lunch at leisure (not included in tour price)
Afternoon, visiting Hue city and boat trip around Song Huong (Perfume) River. Thien Mu pagoda. Continue road journey visiting Minh Mang royal tombs. Dinner at leisure (not included in tour price). Overnight in Hue.
DAY 6 HUE – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. After 2 hour flight, you meet with our guide then transfer hotel for checkin and refresh.
Afternoon, sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh, starting by Notre Dame Cathedral, Post office, and façade of the former presidential palace. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
DAY 7 HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS - PHAN THIET – MUI NE BEACH (B)
In the morning drive to visit underground tunnels of Cu Chi (70 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh city ), There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. The tunnels are between 0.5 to 1m wide, just enough space for a person to walk along by bending or dragging. However, parts of the tunnels have been modified to accommodate visitors. The upper soil layer is between 3 to 4m thick and can support the weight of a 50-ton tank and the damage of light cannons and bombs. The underground network provided sleeping quarters, meeting rooms, hospitals, and other social rooms. Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels provides a better understanding of the prolonged resistance war of the Vietnamese people and also of the persistent and clever character of the Vietnamese nation.
Afternoon, transfer to Phan Thiet beach resort (200km – 4Hours driving). Arrival Phan Thiet, check in your resort and free at leisure for your own activities. Overnight at hotel in Phan Thiet
DAY 8 MUI NE BEACH (B)
