DAY 1 HANOI ARRIVAL (D)
Upon arrival at the Airport, you will meet our guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Enjoy welcome dinner at a nearby restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2 HANOI (B)
Enjoy Hanoi city tour today to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence, One-pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature – the first University in Vietnam, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Bat Trang Ceramic village, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 3 HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B,L,D)
The cruise tour guide and shuttle bus pick you up from your hotel, departing for Halong city through the countryside, farmlands and Red River delta. Arrive at Hon Gai habour, Halong city at noon. Check in your cruise. Enjoy welcome drinks then lunch is served while cruising through the Bai Tu Long bay to Halong bay.
Visit splendid Surprise (Sung Sot) Cave, which is the most beautiful grotto in Halong bay with thousands of stalagmites, stalactites and many legend stories about that.
16h30: Time for kayaking around Surprise cave area. You will have got around 45 minutes to explore Halong bay and some tunnels with our tour guide.
Back to the cruise, cruising to Drum cave for docking and overnight. Passing many beautiful islets on the bay as Head man’s face islet, Saddle horse islet, Fairy lake, drum cave, Virgin cave. Time for relaxing afternoon, make the most of sunbathing on deck. Taking photos on the way. Enjoy the small party with fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea.
Dinner is served on board. Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, dancing, karaoke; watch movie or enjoy night fishing. Overnight on cruise.
DAY 4 BAI TU LONG BAY – VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HANOI (B,L)
Start your day with Tai Chi class on sundeck and welcome sunrise. 07h00: Breakfast, coffee and tea and served while cruising ahead to Bai Tu Long bay. The route is really serene and Bai Tu Long bay islets are really imposing.
08h15: Rowing small local bamboo boat (around 1 hour) to visit Vung Vieng fishing village. Our guide will give you some information and interesting facts about this fascinating village and its local community. Back to the cruise. Keep sailing back to the Hon Gai harbour through the waters and passing many beautiful islets and island on the Bai Tu Long bay.
10h30: Vietnamese Cooking Class in the dining deck. You know how to make a fresh spring rolls “Nem” and mix “Nuoc mam” Vietnamese fish-sauce.
11h00: An early lunch is served. Check out your cabins. Disembark Halong cruise and shutte bus transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel at around 17:00. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 5 HANOI – SAPA (B,L)
Early departure by Sapa Express bus from Hanoi at 7:30 to Sapa at 12:30, meet our English local guide and driver upon arrival. Check in your hotel and have lunch. Depart from Sapa town by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Views of the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent surroundings of mountains and rice terrace fields can be seen from this road. Along the road, people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) are likely to be met, and there are stalls along the way that serve tea, fruits and sweets. After turning off the main road and taking a local path, we will arrive in the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers. After that, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide in a local house. After lunch you trek up and downhill. Specially you will trek through bamboo forest then relax beside the waterfall. Explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai where you will also have the chance to see their daily activities.
Back to your hotel. Free discovery in the evening. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 6 SAPA – HANOI (B)
Morning enjoy 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Cat Cat village through terraced rice fields. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the grand landscape on the way. Private transfer back to your hotel.
You take the shuttle bus from Sapa to Hanoi. Bus departs at 16:00 in Sapa, arriving in Hanoi at 21:00. End of services.
DAY 7 HANOI – DA NANG – HOI AN (B)
Morning flight to Da Nang in Central Vietnam. Private airport transfers are included in Hanoi and Da Nang. Upon arrival, you take a half day walking tour of Hoi An, discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An's colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. You can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An's burgeoning textile industry.
Afternoon, free leisure in Hoi An ancient town and relax in the old quarter.
DAY 8 HOI AN – HUE (B)
Morning, transfer to Hue in your private vehicle. The overland journey will take you through one of the most beautiful scenery of Vietnam when you traverse the Hai Van (Cloudy Pass). There will be plenty of photo opportunities and stops at beaches en route. Arriving at Hue, you will start the day visiting the Forbidden City and the Imperial Citadel, the magnificent tomb of Vietnam’s last monarch Khai Dinh and the romantic tomb of the poet-king Tu Duc. Enjoy this romantic cruise along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 9 HUE – REAL LIFE IN TAM GIANG LAGOON (B,D)

Afternoon is our time to discover Tam Giang Lagoon in the outskirts of Hue. Tam Giang Lagoon is the largest sea lagoon of Southeast Asia, an amazing place in Hue to see real life. Boating on Tam Giang Lagoon to daily fishing activities, coral system, stilt houses on the Lagoon … to see how beautiful and peaceful the lagoon is. Enjoy Vietnam stunning landscapes when the sunset downs on the lagoon. Seafood dinner is included. Return to Hue city center. Overnight in Hue.
DAY 10 HUE – HO CHI MINH CITY (HO CHI MINH CITY) (B)
Morning, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight from Hue to Ho Chi Minh city. Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy a private transfer with guide to hotel for check-in.
Afternoon, take city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, which features a comprehensive collection of the machinery; weapons; photos; and documentation of Vietnam's wars with both the French and Americans. The tour continues to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of Southern Vietnam until end of April 1975. Afterwards, stop at Ben Thanh market for shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 11 HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – CITY TOUR (B,L)
Morning, meet our guide and drive to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi was an important base during the American War because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. Dug out of hard late-rite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. After lunch, continue to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office, a neo-Romanesque cathedral constructed between 1877 and 1883 using bricks from Marseilles and stained-glass windows from Chartres, the Chinatown of the City with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai), one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 12 HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE - CAN THO (B,L)
At 8:30, you depart from your hotel for My Tho city through peaceful villages of Mekong delta “the rice bowl of Vietnam”. After 1.5 hour driving, you start boating in My Tho pier. Overview floating fish houses by boat. Motorized boat ride to Con Phung (Phoenix Island) of Ben Tre province. The province is home of coconut, you can buy handicraft made from coconut trees. Have Vietnamese vegetarian lunch.
After lunch is the time to explore amazing Mekong canals: Motorized boat cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in Ben Tre province. Visit orchards, bee-keeping house, enjoy honey tea, seasonal tropical fruit and traditional music. Take horse cart along peaceful village. Rowing-boat ride along small mangrove palm creek (mangrove palm or Nypa-frutican known as "dừa nước" in Vietnam). See coconut candy production process. Around 15:00, you get on the van to Can Tho city at the heart of Mekong delta. Check in and overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 13 CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)
Have breakfast at hotel. Private van transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf, then board a motor boat to cruise on Can Tho river to see Cai Rang floating market where hundreds of boats are packed with mangoes, bananas, papayas and pineapples… for selling, buying and exchanging. Continue cruising along the network of natural channels to discover the natural setting of Mekong delta, tranquil villages and local activities. See local orchards and enjoy tropical seasonal fruits (included). Cruise back to the wharf for lunch. Check out your hotel then private transfer to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrive at your hotel at around 17:00. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 14 HO CHI MINH CITY – DEPARTURE (B)
Morning check out your hotel then private transfer (without tour guide) to Ho Chi Minh international airport for your departure. End of services.
